Vegas has a lot of magic shows. Most of them are on the Strip, cost you forty dollars to park before you've even sat down, and star somebody who won a reality TV competition with a good backstory.
This isn't that.
A Little Night Magic is a close-up magic and mentalism show inside Capo's Restaurant & Speakeasy — a hidden Italian joint off the Strip on Sahara Ave with a secret entrance and a password to get in. No theater. No big stage. No illusions you watch from two hundred feet away.
The show is pay-what-you-want. You don't pay a dime until it's over. That's a risk for V, not the audience — and that's the point. If the show's worth something to you, you decide what. If it isn't, you walk.
That's how confident he is that you won't.
The Magician
V has been doing this for over forty years. Not for the fame. For the craft. Not because a casting director picked him or a producer called his name. Because he never stopped.
Close-up magic is the hardest discipline in the trade. No smoke machines. No trapdoors. No lovely assistants to draw the eye while the secret happens somewhere else. Just hands, a table, and whatever you brought in your pockets — performed inches from people who are actively trying to catch you.
V has been part of the Capo's family for over ten years. The speakeasy isn't just a venue — it's the room this show was built for. Intimate, atmospheric, and just secretive enough that finding it feels like the first trick of the evening.

What They Said
I've seen magic shows on the Strip. This was the first time I forgot I was watching one.— Guest, 2025
We came for dinner and stumbled into the best night we've had in Vegas. And we've been coming here for twenty years.— Guest, 2025
I still don't know how he knew what I was thinking. My wife thinks I was in on it. I was not.— Guest, 2025
The Venue
Capo's Restaurant & Speakeasy is a mob-themed Italian restaurant on the west side of Las Vegas. The restaurant is excellent. The speakeasy behind it is something else entirely — a hidden room you enter through a secret entrance, once you know the password.
It seats twenty-five. The lighting is low. The drinks are strong. And three nights a week, impossible things happen at close range while you wonder how you didn't know about this place sooner.
Dinner before the show is not required, but it's strongly recommended. Capo's does Italian the way it's supposed to be done — heavy, generous, and unapologetic.
Reserve
The show is free to attend. You pay what you want, at the end. But the room only holds twenty-five, and once they're gone, they're gone.
